Edith is the Director of Finance& IT at North London YMCA since 2012. Edith is a qualified accountant and Fellow of ACCA i.e. FCCA and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from the ACCA. Edith also holds an MSc in charity accounting and financial management 2000, from the London South Bank University.
Edith Yembra is currently the President of the ACCA London Women network Panel – a seminar which she has helped to facilitate for the last ten years. Prior to joining the North London YMCA, Edith was Group Finance Director at the Institute of the Motor Industry, Brickendon in Hertford.

Before joining the Institute of the Motor Industry, Edith Yembra was Head of Finance at Energywatch – a Non-Departmental Public Body and a watchdog for the Gas & Electricity Consumer Council. Edith Yembra worked in the charity for 15 years as Director of Finance and IT & Company Secretary at Interact Worldwide formerly known as Population Concern.
